Payment Method
To manage the financial and billing information for a LogicMonitor account, the Financial settings in the LogicMonitor portal are used.
To submit a payment, the Billing Information settings must be configured. This can be done by navigating to Settings > Account Information, and selecting the Financial tab.
To edit the email address associated with the Billing Information, select edit, and then do the following:
- In the Billing email text field, enter an email address.
- Select Save.
To modify payment information, select Edit Payment Method, and then modify the payment information.
To hide invoices that do not have a charge, enable Hide $0 invoices.
To submit a payment, navigate to Settings > Account Information, and select the Financial tab. Select Submit Payment, and then Submit again when prompted. The payment is immediately submitted and displayed in the invoice table.

How To Open A LogicMonitor Account?
To open an account on LogicMonitor, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the custom URL provided by LogicMonitor personnel upon the creation of the account. The URL should look like this:
https://accountname.logicmonitor.com. - Use the login credentials provided by LogicMonitor personnel to log in for the first time.
- For future logins, a valid username and password is needed. These could be the credentials used when initially logging in or those that were subsequently assigned to a new user account.
- In case of a forgotten password, click the "I forgot my password!" link located in the lower left of the login screen. Enter a username, and an email containing a temporary password reset URL will then be sent to that username’s associated email account. Note: The password reset URL will only remain active for 15 minutes.
- Upon logging in for the first time, a wizard will guide through the creation of a new user, as well as the addition of Collectors and resources. Follow the wizard’s prompts to assign a username, password, mobile phone, and time zone to the new user account.
Remember, checking the “Keep Me Signed In” option will keep the user session open, even when no user activity has been detected for an extended period of time. This is particularly useful if the account is used to display dashboards on an NOC screen. If the “Keep Me Signed In” option is left unchecked, the session will time out automatically when a specified length of inactivity has been detected. This specified length of inactivity is set as a universal default from the Portal Settings tab of the Account Information page.
